A still life comprised of a boy and dog porcelain figurine. The boy is sheltered by a potted jade plant. He seems to be telling the dog to be quiet. The remainder of the composition includes a tin bucket with a verdigris patina, a brass coal hod/scuttle, a sunlit background and yellow sunlight on the floor and gold Victorian lace adorning an aqua tablecloth. Prices do not include frame. Not a Whisper. Marlene Book. Copyright 2017.
